Abstract: The deposit of asphaltens observed in the light oil reservoirs close to the AOP (Asphalten Onset Pressure) is at the origin of the rise in water cut consequence of water bypass. It is proposed to develop a capillary system with mixed wettability to visually observe twophase flows in capillary media. The injection of nanoparticles in the form of micellar solution of surfactants corresponding to Winsor III drains the oil at the same time under the same pressure in all the capillaries. This phenomenon is observed in porous and fractured environments (virgin and altered). A high water cut is observed in the environments altered by PVC.
