Abstract: The composition of natural gas and vary from or reservoir to another, this study and basing on the increase of the CO2 content in natural gas up to 2%.I define the co2 concentration in the amine corresponding to the levels of co2 in natural gas ranging from 0.22-2 mol % using the linear interpolation method, calculate the amine injection rates to treat the different grades using the material balance to avoid the problems that creates by this increase in the process of liquifaction of GN at Skikda LNG complex level.Finally, and from the results obtained, it can be said with confidence that the decarbonation unit of the Skikda LNG complex can efficiently treat a natural gas with a high content of CO2, and this with a simple adjustment of the operating parameters of the unit.
