Since ancient times, many thinkers and analysts, like Malthus, have considered population growth as a scourge for the social, economic and cultural development of societies. These massive human waves consume all natural resources, especially non-renewable ones, and are harmful to the environment and a heavy burden for governments as they can no longer provide shelter, clothing, education and health care for all. Population growth has negative consequences for cities, new arrivals exacerbating the crisis of large urban gatherings such as the housing crisis, juvenile delinquency ... etc. This rural exodus is leading to a decline in agricultural production and meat supplying large cities and helping them meet basic food needs. Therefore, all countries, especially those in the process of development, must control population growth and adopt effective population and urban policies that put an end to the irrational consumption of the natural resources that future generations need, organize these cities to avoid serious social, economic and environmental disasters that could hamper any attempt at real progress by these countries in various vital areasen_US
