دف هذا المقال ذو الطابع النّظري البحت هو البحث في أواصر العلاقة بين التحليل النفسي ـــ كما قدمه فرويد ـــ واللُّغة وذلك من خلال تحليل الأطروحة اللاكانية (نسبة إلى جاك لاكان) التي تعد واحدة من الأطروحات المعاصرة التي حاولت أن تسبر العمق اللغوي للتحليل النفسي قصد تجاوز وتقويض مزاعم التيارات النفسية المحسوبة على التحليل النفسي والتي اختزلت نظريات فرويد في بعد بيولوجي غرائزي صرف متجاهلة الطابع الجوهري للتحليل النفسي ألا وهو اللغة.
