Infant mortality in Algeria has declined significantly since independence, with the infant mortality rate falling by about eight times since 1965,after being about 161.73‰, it reached 21‰ in 2017, this infant mortality consists of two components, the endogenous mortality due to causes prior to birth or resulting from the birth itself, and the exogenous mortality or deaths are due to causes encountered by the child in the middle where he lives. In this research paper, we will attempt to apply the biometric method of John Bourgois-Pichat to the distinction between internal and external deaths in Algeria by applying the data of the 2012-2013 Multi-Indicator Cluster Survey.en_US
