The National Bureau of Statistics relies on estimating the universality of birth and death registration on the results of the various population-related processes it supervises without resorting to indirect assessment techniques, although it is mainly directed at developing countries, including Algeria, which suffer from poor material and human resources; Account papers within easy-to-use software. Thisresearchaims at extracting the rates of coverage of births and deaths not published, through the available data, in addition to the use of indirect methods to estimate the overall mortality of the comparison or to provide more details about it. It was found that the birth registration in the civil status is almost universal. The mortality due to its specificity is incomplete and varies according to age and gender. The results are close to the indirect methods and we have encountered differences. These methods still need to be examined for their compatibility with the Algerian data.en_US
