Abstract: This study aimed to identify the reality of educational guidance in secondary schools in the governorate of Ouargla and to highlight the problems faced by educational counselors and appropriate solutions and objectives, where the descriptive analytical approach was adopted as a study methodology and the sample of the study included 30 school guidance counselors belonging to the secondary schools of Ouargla. The questionnaire was adopted as a tool for data collection, percentage and t (test) as a method of statistical processing: 1- There is agreement and variation in the order of priority of the problems facing the guides. As for the fields, it became clear that all the questionnaire fields are statistically significant with the total questionnaire. The field of management got a percentage of 65%, which is a very large percentage and occupied the first rank. Working conditions of the mentors received an acceptable percentage in the second degree 23% and finally the preparation and ranking 12%. 2 - There are no differences between the counselors of school guidance in the guidance of pupils excellently mathematically attributed to the sex variable.
