Type of press ownership in Arab media systems and its relationship to media pluralism

Abstract

This paper aims to expose theoretical bases on which the Arab media systems were based & diagnose its characteristics by focusing on two basics: the nature of press ownership and the promoting of media pluralism in every country or media system, whether through the internal regulatory environment or the reality of journalistic practice.
