dc.description.abstractAchieving a positive self-esteem has become in our time a necessary requirement to be linked to success in work for both the individual and his institution, for this purpose, the present study aimed at revealing the level of self-esteem in the work environment under the variable of professional seniority, the researcher used the statistical descriptive method, the sample consisted of 225 nurses working in the public health institutions in wilaya of Mostaganem (128 males and 97 females) were taken in a simple random method, in order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the Cooper Smith Self-Esteem Scale and the study concluded the following results: - Nurses working in public health institutions have a low degree of self-esteem. - There are statistically significant differences in self-esteem among nurses working in public health institutions according to the variable of professional seniorityen_US
