Abstract: Media studies researches divided into two main section quantitative and qualitative researches they considered as a different schools despite uneven between them. They aim to reach exact scientific results may will contribute the increase the accumulation of knowledge required in media field the inherent researches is one of the types of media studies that aim at a essential target according to the Islamic vision of drafting the media of the Islamic society there fore. We would ask the following question: What are the epistemological foundations of inherent media researches? Beside that we are going to try in this modest brief study to give the answer on these points: 1/scientific underpinnings of media research. 2/privacy of qualitative media research. 3/define the nature of inherent media researches
