The reality of the tourism sector in Algeria according to indicators of the travel & tourism competitiveness : 2011 - 2019

Abstract

تعتبر السياحة من القطاعات الاقتصادية الهامة بالنسبة لأي دولة بكل مقوماتها كالنقل، الخدمات السياحية والطاقة الفندقية وغيرها. لذلك لا تزال السياحة تلقى الاهتمام الواسع عند كثير من الجهات المسؤولة والمشرفة على عمليات التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية…؛ لما له من قدرة على التحفيز الايجابي لقطاعات أخرى لتحقيق أغراض التنمية المستهدفة. ونحاول في هذا المقال تشخيص القطاع السياحي في الجزائر من خلال مختلف مؤشرات التنافسية السياحية، من خلال قراءة تحليلية للمؤشرات الخاصة بتقرير القدرة التنافسية لقطاع الأسفار والسياحة من 2011 الى 2019. وتوصلنا الى أن قطاع السياحة في الجزائر يواجه قيود كبيرة منها قلة الاستثمارات في البنية التحتية والخدمات الأساسية، ويحتاج تطوير قطاع السياحة إلى نظرة طويلة الأجل تكون جزء من عملية التنمية الاقتصادية. So tourism is still received widespread attention from many responsible and overseeing the economic and social development processes ...; Because of its ability to the positive stimulus to other sectors to achieve the targeted development purposes We are trying in this paper diagnose the tourism sector in Algeria through competitiveness indicators tourist, by an analytical reading of the indicators of the Competitiveness Report for the Travel and Tourism Sector from 2011 to 2019. We determined that the tourism sector in Algeria faces significant constraints, including lack of investment in infrastructure and basic services, and the tourism sector needs to develop a long-term view to be part of the process of economic development
