Abstract: This study aims to identify the concept of social creativity and the extent of its ability to contribute to building a solidarity economy, where this concept came to enhance the role and importance of engaging civil society in the development process by enabling it to demonstrate its capability and place it in public interest service. As well as knowing what Algeria is doing in this subject, and whether it has the necessary importance for the state and civil society, especially as it was able to achieve positive results in many countries. Despite the advantages that the solidarity economy provides, Algerian civil society has not yet reached the stage of maturity to adopt this type of economy that has proven its feasibility in all the countries that developed it. As the craftsmen and professions in Algeria still depend on state support. Moreover, the state did not involve civil society in developing this program, but rather unilaterally decide it at a stage when unemployment rates were very high. The program was at its inception more effective, but by the year 2004, with the financial wealth that Algeria had never known, loans were distributed almost without conditions to all who request them, even in the absence of a clear economic project, which negatively affected the results of Solidarity economy in Algeria
