The political and economic implications of the emerging Coronavirus pandemic on the international political and economic system

Abstract

تحددت مشكلة الدراسة بشكل رئيسي حول التعرف على التداعيات السياسية والاقتصادية لجائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد على النظامين السياسي والاقتصادي الدوليين. هدفت الدراسة إلى توضيح مفهوم جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد، ثم رصد وتتبّع الآثار السياسية والاقتصادية الناجمة عن تأثير هذه الجائحة على النظامين السياسي والاقتصادي الدوليين، بالإضافة إلى محاولة التنبؤ بالصورة المستقبلية للنظام الدولي بعد هذه الجائحة. استخدمت الدراسة منهجية "تحليل النظم". توصّلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج، أبرزها: هشاشة الأنظمة السياسية الليبرالية الكبرى التي عجزت أنظمتها الصحية عن وقف انتشار وتمدّد فيروس كورونا المستجد، كما أكّدت هذه الجائحة أن المؤسسات الاقتصادية الدولية الكبرى فشلت في مواجهة التداعيات الاقتصادية الهائلة لهذه الأزمة، أضف إلى ذلك أنّ الرابحين في إدارة هذه الأزمة هم من سيشكّلون ملامح النظام الدولي الجديد. Abstract: The study's problem was mainly about identifying the political and economic implications of the emerging corona virus pandemic on the international political and economic systems. The aim of the study was to clarify the concept of the emerging corona virus pandemic, and then to monitor and track the political and economic impact of the pandemic on the international political and economic systems, as well as to try to predict the future picture of the international system after the pandemic. The study used the "systems analysis" methodology. The study produced several results: The fragility of the major liberal political systems whose health systems have been unable to stop the spread and expansion of the new corona virus. Moreover, it is the winners of the crisis who will shape the new international order.
