Semantics of Heritage Verses According to Halliday’s ideational Metafunction

Abstract

Studying literary texts from linguistic aspects, such as ideational function is one of the new research approaches which improve better and deeper understanding of hidden layers of texts. Studying the Qur'an from the point of view of modern linguistics is a way of discovering the unreadable layers of this holy book and in some ways it can be a measure of the delicacy of linguistic theories. Halliday’s functional linguistics is a new theory and one of the new research approaches that has attracted the attention of contemporary linguists. This theory is a social look at language which is interwoven with three metafunctional processes. The method is correlative-analytical and this study tries to analyze the variety of different ideational metafunction processes of Heritage Verses. The results show that according to the texture of the verses of Heritage that discuss about Inheritance, more verbal, relational and behavioral processes are used in these verses. Due to the mission these verses have, the least mental process and peripheral elements are used.دراسة النصوص الأدبية من وجهة نظر لغوية هي إحدى مناهج البحث الجديدة التي تبني فهمًا أعمق للطبقات الخفية للنصوص. دراسة القرآن من وجهة نظر لغوية جديدة، طريقة لاكتشاف الطبقات الغير قابلة للقراءة في هذا الكتاب المقدس، ويمكن أن تكون في بعض النواحي معيارًا لقياس حساسية النظريات اللغوية. اللغويات الوظيفية الشاملة هي نظرية جديدة وإحدى الأساليب البحثية الجديدة التي جذبت انتباه اللغويين المعاصرين. تأخذ هذه النظرية نظرة اجتماعية عن اللغة وتدرس اللغة من منظور التأثيرات الفكرية والشخصية والنصية. تبحث هذه الدراسة المستندة إلى المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، مساهمة مختلف عمليات التفكير في آيات المیراث. تشير النتائج إلى أنه نظرًا لسياق الآيات التي تناقش فيها قوانين الميراث، يتم استخدام عمليات شفاهية وعلائقية وسلوكية أكثر في هذه الآیات بسبب أهداف هذه الآيات، يتم استخدام أقل للعملية، العقلية والعناصر الطرفية. الكلمات الرئیسیه: القرآن الكريم، المیراث، اللغويات الوظيفية النظامية،"هلیدي"
