Abstract: This research examines teaching recitation in the primary school fourth year under the second-generation curricula of the Algerian school, with the aim of identifying the reality of recitation education this year by analyzing recitation activity through content, teaching and evaluation. To achieve the objectives of the study, the subject was addressed from the educational objectives of the recitation, the educational content chosen to achieve these objectives, as well as the method of study and evaluation.
