Abstract: The aim of the study was to reveal the importance of student’s mediation and problem solving ability among themselves from the perspective of social workers and the psychologists of the targeted schools. The study was a mixture of descriptive analytical method and quasi- experimental method tested through a training programme for student mediation and a questionnaire of students’ ability to solve their problems among themselves. The questionnaire targeted (44) social workers and psychologists besides to (24) students. The study results revealed that students’ mediation reflect their ability to problem solving from the point of view of the psychologists and social workers; and the effectiveness of the training programme. There were significant differences in the importance of mediation for students in favour of the psychologists and the holders of a university degree (Bachelor's Degree) in the sample.
