Abstract: one of the most important rights for individuals in society is the right of privacy. such right was widen as a result of the technological development, especially in what concerns personal data and private life, which includes all types of people regardless of their conditions. in the events of the outbreak of coronavirus and its dangers, special measures of prevention were called for.especially in what concerns reporting infected cases and publishing their information for the sake of protecting others from being infected. this research aims to shed light on the aspects of privacy for a patient with coronavirus, and how well they align with the measures of prevention and health regulations. especially in what concerns declaring infected cases and their personal information. the research’s results show that the act of prevention dictates certain deeds so as to identify the infected and contain the infection. they do not violate the private life or the right of privacy for patients with coronavirus. however, theyought to be limited to the qualified authorities only
