Abstract: The aim of our study was to find out the Cognitive strategies that been used by the students those presenting dyscalculia. In addition, we tried to learn about method of educating this all strategies to the primary cycle students suffering from these troubles. For this purpose, we introduce the various theoretical approaches concerning this phenomenon. With a special relevant, scientific read of the many studies and research. Because it is well known that how many theoretical background is important to any practical research. To achieve that, we divided our work to three principle axes. The first one was reserved to the identification and the understanding of the cognitive strategies. The second axe devoted to recognize the different numeracy skills. Finally, in the third axe we approached the cognitive strategies developed to learn these numeracy skills. In fact, this research could help the reader to understand the various cognitive strategies witch would improve the educational process in the primary cycle especially in students suffering from dyscalculia. In conclusion, we recognized a series of proposal and recommendations for opening up opportunities to the field research concerning these topics
