Abstract

لم تعد الحرب في الوقـت الراهن مجرد حرب تقليدية واضحة المعالم والأدوات،وإنما باتت خليطا من توظيف كافة الأدوات المتاحة،التقليدية وغير التقليدية،في ظل تحول تكنولوجي هائل غير كثيرا من المفاهيم السائدة عن الحرب والصراع والردع،بحيث أضحى الملمح البارز للحرب هو تطورها المستمر، والذي انعكس في أجيالها المختلفة-خمسة أجيال لحد الآن.بناء عليه،تهدف هذه الورقة لاستكشاف تطور ظاهرة الحرب،و البحث في العوامل و المحددات التي أسهمت في بروز أجيالها الخمس.لتخلص الورقة في الأخير إلى أن الطبيعة المتغيرة لمجالات الصراع، الخصوم، الأهداف،والقوة كانت السبب وراء تطور الحرب من جيلها الأول إلى جيلها الخامس. Abstract: At the present time, war is no longer merely a traditional war with clear features and tools, but rather a mixture of employing all available tools, traditional and unconventional, in light of a massive technological change that is not much of the prevailing concepts of war, conflict, and deterrence. This is reflected in its different generations - five generations up to now. Accordingly, this paper aims to explore the evolution of the phenomenon of warfare, and to research the factors and determinants that contributed to the emergence of its five generations. Finally, the paper concludes that the changing nature of the areas of conflict, adversaries, objectives, and power was the reason behind the development of warfare from its first generation to its fifth generation.
