dc.description.abstractThe concern for environmental protection is due to industrial and technological development; which created multiple environmental problems that affected humans and organisms by the irrational exploitation of natural wealth without taking into account the rights of subsequent generations, so environmental governance has therefore emerged to protect the environment from all environmental violations; by the rational and sustainable exploitation of resources. This study aims to highlight the contribution of environmental governance; to sustainable development in Algeria; through the development of effective environmental strategies and policies; and efficient institutions, environmental legislation; based on the analytical, descriptive approach and a case study approach, Let's conclude that protecting the environment from unfair exploitation, achieving the sustainability of its resources, It requires good environmental governance, with the contribution of all actors and a green economy to sustainable development and environmental security.en_US
