Abstract: We try through this research document to study the results of the American presidential election held on November 3, 2020 in which between the president and candidate Donald Trump (Republican), and the second candidate, Joe Biden (Democrat ), who served as Vice President for two consecutive terms during Barack Obama's tenure. In this article, we have used the technique of observation by following the events related to the American elections in the media such as Al Arabiya, Al Jazeera, BBC and CNN, and we also relied on the analysis of statistics published on the Fox News television sites, NB C. The study spanned the election campaign, then the televised debate, and ending with the voting process, which was exceptionally marked by the delay in announcing the winner until November 7 due to the delay in announcing and approving election results in the swing regions like Georgia where the votes have been recounted
