Abstract: This scientific paper aims to characterize the legal landscape of media practice identity and its professional ethics in Algeria. This comes through the use of historical and systemic approaches by monitoring the legal arsenal corresponding to the pattern of pluralism after unilateralism and its intellectual roots, respecting Algerian moral specificities and all ethics that guarantee media practice and its professional sanctity, which are professionalism, credibility and informational sovereignty. The nature of this research is evident in the fact that it is inspired by interdisciplinary approaches to describe differences details between the 1990 /2012 Media Laws. the study were concerned also with deontology as an ethical prescription for the desecration of its ethics in the media profession.
