dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of cellulose nanofibers (NCF) obtained from rice husks for the adsorption of hexachrome Cr (VI). The adsorption experiments were carried out in the context of the batch process, based on the following experimental conditions: the adsorbent dose, the initial chromium concentration and the pH, according to the one-factor method in terms of time. The adsorption rate reached 92.99%, and the adsorption results were in agreement with the Langmuir isotarm, and the kinetic study was in agreement with the first false order model.The negative values of ΔG ° and the positive values of ΔH ° showed that the adsorption of Cr (VI) on (NCFs) was endothermic and automaticen_US
