Abstract: The aim of this research is to find out the extent and ability of primary education teachers to identify students with learning difficulties in the early years of the study, and to guide them to identify the forms of these difficulties and their prevalence among students and the best ways to deal with them in terms of treatment and guidance for students with difficulties. In order to conduct this study, we relied on the descriptive approach appropriate to the study. The study sample consisted of (68) teachers and teachers in primary schools. The study tools were in a measure of the teacher's ability to identify learning difficulties. The degree to which the primary education teacher perceives the concept of learning difficulties is medium, the degree of discrimination between the teacher of primary education between the learning difficulties and the corresponding concepts are medium, the degree to which the primary education teacher can diagnose learning difficulties is weak
