The content of caricature in social networks: between criticism and simulation of reality

Abstract

This study aims to identify the content of the caricature published on the Facebook page of the Algerian cartoonist Abdelghani Ben Hariza, due to the essential role that the art of caricature plays in attracting the attention of the masses by presenting many subjects and issues in caricature, manner that arouses the amusement of the recipient, and at the same time seeks to convey the communication message in a manner different from the written word. In view of the importance of this art, this research paper sheds light on the most important characteristic of the art of caricature in social networks, in particular Facebook, by relying on the analysis tool of content to achieve the desired results, especially this functionality that distinguished it from its publication by other means, represented in direct and indirect interactivity, with the caricature and its owner
