Abstract

من بين الفنون التي ارتبطت منذ نشأتها بالإنسان لتعبر عن فكره وعواطفه وكل ما يتصل بحياته المسرح، الذي ومنذ نشأته الأولى على يد الإغريق واليونان ارتبط ظهوره بتلك الطقوس الاحتفالية والتي تقدم فيها القرابين للآلهة ،ليتطور فيما بعد ويعتمد في موضوعاته على الكثير من الأساطير المختلفة والتي أصبحت تمثل احد المصادر المهمة في كتابات المسرحيين عبر أقطار العالم ،ليستمد كذلك منها الكتاب المسرحيين العرب وتصبح احد المصادر في كتابة المسرحيات العربية ويسقطونها على واقعهم العربي وتصبح بمثابة الإرث الثقافي بدلالاته وأبعاده الرمزية وعلاقته بفكر الشعوب التي تسعى للحفاظ عليه وتبثه في ذاكرة الأجيال عن طريق المسرح، ومن هؤلاء الكتاب محمود تيمور في مسرحية أشطر من إبليس.

Theater has been throughout the ages the most important art that has expressed the thoughts and feelings of humans and everything related to his life. In fact, when it first appeared with the Greeks, the theater was associated with ceremonial rituals in which offerings were submitted to the gods. It would later develop into incorporating myths which became important sources in the writings of many playwrights around the world. Arab playwrights for example have used these myths in their plays through making a parallel between them and their reality. In this way it became a cultural heritage that has symbolic dimensions and related to the people’s thought that is preserved through drama for the later generations. Amongst the Arab playwrights who have done so is Mahmoud Timur in his paly Sleazier than the Devil.
