Abstract: In light of the Corona pandemic (COVID-19), scientific evidence has proven the increasing prevalence of mental illness among health care workers, and a large number of health care workers have been infected in a short period of mental illness (anxiety - stress - depression) all over the world, in comparison to unprecedented efforts to confront the epidemic with appropriate speed and effectiveness Through this study, we are trying to find out the effect of the pandemic on the level of depression in a sample of 60 resident physicians, using the Depression Scale - "Beck" list for depression - BDI-I-Beck - depression inventory, adapted by Abdel-Fattah Gharib, and this current study confirmed the presence of a percentage of High number of depressed residents, which is linked to fatigue and long working hours under the pandemic
