Abstract: This study aims at highlighting the role and importance of the humanities and social sciences in confronting the Covid 19 virus at the scientific and practical level. This by focusing on the psychological and social repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic, between social isolation, fear and indifference. Therefore, a deep understanding of the phenomenon and thinking about the consequences of this epidemic that has swept the whole world calls for intensifying efforts through the use of several fields and disciplines, such as medicine, biology, psychology, sociology, history and paleontology. While it is the responsibility of researchers and specialists in psychology and sociology, a basic task is to research and discover methods of dealing with the pandemic, and to suggest some possible remedial solutions, methods of psychological support, intervention and follow-up
