Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the most serious disruption of education systems in the new millennium. Algeria is not of any exception since most of its institutions mainly in economy and education are still threatened causing the collapse of years of progress. However, the sanitary crisis has stimulated innovation within the education sector. Distance learning solutions have been developed as quick responses to the government in order to support the education follow up. The present paper provides a critical analysis of the online education in the Algerian universities during the pandemic crisis. An electronic interview designed to teachers and learners as a research design based on a mixed research methodology was implemented to set the future framework of a successful e-Learning in the Algerian Higher Education. The results show that Education Continuity through e-learning platforms remains a debatable concern especially during unexpected situations.
