Abstract: This research is set to unravel the parameters and methods underlying the management and interaction with distance education in Algerian FLE (French as a Foreign Language) instruction at a tertiary level. Indeed, the use of this alternative instructional method is considered as a wise–and imposed choice concurrently– which was put forward to ensure the continuity of teaching and learning activities under the current special circumstances, due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following a case study design, quantitative and qualitative data were collected from both teachers and learners relative to their interaction with the Moodle Platform, put at their disposal in theTeacher Education College of Sétif (known as École Normale Supérieure de Sétif). Our findings laid support to the call for renovating teaching and learning through the deployment of the recent Information and Communications Technologies (ICT’s).
