The study aimed to analyze the relationship between fisheries and the contribution of the agricultural and fishing sectors to the gross domestic product in the Republic of Sudan (2001 - 2019). The problem of the study was summarized in the question: Is there a causal relationship between fisheries and the contribution of the agricultural and fishing sectors to the gross domestic product in the Republic of Sudan (2001 - 2019). It used the descriptive approach and the statistical and standard analysis method. It reached several results, the most important of which are: the existence of a causal relationship between fish exports and the contribution of the agricultural and fishing sectors to the gross domestic product of the Republic of Sudan (2001 - 2019). It recommended the necessity of paying attention to the fisheries sector in terms of protecting it from overfishing, not allowing the catching of small fish, and protecting water resources from environmental pollution.en_US
