Abstract: The Algerian legislator organized the media sector with special provisions since the first law 82-01 of 06 February 1982 concerning the media, which had an ideological direction for the period of time that was created in its embrace, to be repealed once and amended again in every law as needed, and the legislator's desire to keep up Especially in this sector, through preliminary laws and projects, the most recent of which is Organic Law No. 12-05 of 12 January 2012 and Law No. 14-04 of 24 February 2014 on Audiovisual. The Algerian legislature emphasizes the need to develop and promote this sector, by defining the general framework of audiovisual, through the establishment of the audiovisual control authority. It was established by Law 12-05 in Article 64, granting it independence, moral personality and financial independence.
