dc.description.abstract | SMEs and SMIs play a crucial role in economic growth for developing countries as well as for developed ones. In all economies, small and medium-sized industrial enterprises (SME-SMI) represent the largest share of companies around 80% and a huge share in terms of job creation 45,8%. This study aims to formulate an objective vision to help shape approaches to broaden their contributions to the country’s national development. Indeed, the study noted the importance of the SME-SMI and the great role they play in the national economy (PIB, productive fabric and value creation ...), which, consderable though it may be, does not raise to the required and necessary ambition it may generate due to structural and infrastructural constraints, in particular access to financing, In this regard the study suggests a set of recommendations to help foster improvements in the business climate of the SMEs-SMIs so that they fully play the role which is theirs in economic and social development in Mauritania | en_US |
