Abstract: The date palm is a dioecious species, the selection of pollinators “Dokkars” is decisive for the success of pollination. Several studies are carried out in the main date palm cultivation areas in South-Eastern Algeria (Ouargla, Oued Righ, Souf and Zibans) to establish a diagnosis of the situation of pollinators in traditional sector farms and the development perimeter. Studies have shown that the ratio of the number of Dokkars to the number of female feet is about 1%.
