یهدف هذا المقال إلى إب ا رز أهمیة الإرشاد العقلاني الانفعالي في معالجة بعض المشكلات والاضط ا ربات النفسیة التي تصیب الفرد، نتیجة لتبنیه عدة أفكار لاعقلانیة وغیر منطقیة فالإرشاد العقلاني الانفعالي هو أسلوب أو نظریة من نظریات الإرشاد النفسي تستخدم فنیات معرفیة وانفعالیة لمساعدة المسترشدین في التغلب على ما لدیهم من أفكار ومعتقدات خاطئة وغیر عقلانیة التي یصاحبها اضط ا رب في سلوك وشخصیة الفرد واستبدالها بأفكار ومعتقدات أكثر عقلانیة تساعده على التوافق مع المجتمع، فموضوع المقال یعالج جوانب العملیة الإرشادیة القائمة وفقا نظریة "ألبرت ألیس" للإرشاد العقلاني الانفعالي This article aims to highlight the importance of rational and emotional guidance in addressing some of the problems and disorders that affect the individual as result of the adoption of several of the irrational and illogical ideas.
