L’adaptation cinématographique de « Harry Potter à l’école des sorciers » de J.K Rowling

Abstract

Ce mémoire a pour objet d’étude le phénomène de l’adaptation cinématographique des œuvres littéraires (tel le roman). L’originalité de notre analyse de corpus réside dans le fait de dévoiler les liens convergents et divergents entre le roman " Harry Potter à l’école des sorciers" de J.K. Rowling et la version filmique de même intitulé celui de Chris Columbus. Il nous est donc impératif dans ce processus de décrire ce passage de la transposition d’un texte écrit à une représentation audiovisuelle en comparant les différents éléments des deux œuvres ; en mettant en relief les modifications observés afin de qualifier le type de l’adaptation en question.

This Master thesis deals with phenomenon of cinematic extraction of art works such as: novel. The essence of this research lies in the discovery of the convergent and contrasting links between the novel of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone " by J.K. Rowling. , and the filmic copy which carries the same title by Chris Columbus. On this account, we are going to describe the transition from a novelistic text to audiovisual representation through the application of a comparative reading to determining that kind of extraaction, subject of study.
