Compounds of organobismuths were developed in the last century because of their ownership catalytic oxidation, arylante and medicinal properties.1 In our study, we are interested in preparing new organobismuth reagents in order to aryl various organic compounds. We decided to focus our study on the synthesis of triphenylbismuthbis(thiophene carboxylate) [Ph3Bi(TC)2] from thiophene carboxylic acid.2 The structure of Ph3Bi(TC)2 has been determined by X-ray analysis and also by 1H and 13C NMR. Note. (TC): thiophene carboxylateen_US
