The research problem centers mainly round showing the preventive intervention of consumer protection societies by showing how they practice their intervention to avoid affecting the interests of the consumer. The importance of the latter is shown in preventing the occurrence of harm by adopting an analytical and descriptive approach, in application of the principle of prevention is better than cure. The study concludes with a set of findings, the most important of which are: the importance of adopting a preventive role that should precede the deterrent and defensive role, and the powers that are legally conferred to such associations which aim to consecrate its role, translated in the right to raise awareness and to obtain goods and services that combine both quality and reasonable price. These findings need to be put into practice by removing the obstacles that prevent the achievement of the desired goals, as well as turning the texts into concrete initiatives.en_US
