This study attempts to shed light on the relationship of the failed state with the inherent social conflict, with the aim of highlighting the impact of the political and economic factors of the failed state in extending these conflicts as a result of depriving the constituent groups of their basic needs, and the extent to which this was achieved at the level of the Somali state, and to complete the study procedures The descriptive analytical method was used to describe both the concept of the inherent social conflict and the failed state and to analyze the relationship of the failed state politically and economically in extending conflicts, and the case study method when addressing the state of Somalia, The conclusion was reached that the political failure of the Somali state in light of the power struggle, and economically in terms of the economic deficit, the most prominent manifestations are the social conflicts between the Somali tribes to control the rule, which makes the Somali state enter into the cycle of inherent social conflictsen_US
