Abstract: The increasing demand for élèctric power and the inevitable of conventional sources requires us to research on alternative sources, such as renewable energies, from permitting, solar energy is the energy which the most widely used because of its many advantages And as Algeria has an exceptional solar deposit thanks to its large surface area, it therefore represents an important source of photovoltaic energy. The objective of this thesis is Study the importance of using renewable energies to cover the élèctrical needs in religious places, for this reason, we carried out a techno-economic study to supply the Takoua mosque of Sidi khoulide with solar energy by using simulation software known worldwide « RETScreen »
