dc.description.abstractAbstract: In this article, the researcher tackled the issue of Algerian revolutions against the Turkish system in Algeria during the Ottoman period, in terms of the causes and consequences of these revolutions. Choosing the Ben Sakheri's revolution one of the greatest revolutions in Algeria during the Ottoman period, as a model of study. The researcher concluded that Ben Sakheri's revolution, which broke out in 1638, had shaken the Ottoman system in Algeria and had almost overthrown it, as it encompassed the area between the Zab and the borders of Tunisia with Dar al- Sultan; the city of Algiers and its environs, which lasted a long time and caused the disappearance of a number of pashas. There were many deaths, and because of it the disorder had hindered the Beylek of Constantine for a long timeen_US
