dc.description.abstractThis study aims to know the most important subjective and academic factors related to the university professor as well as the organizational and physical factors of the professional environment in which he works, which affects his socio-professional mobility, considering the existence of gradual levels in his working life, and because the university professor is the most important resources of the university and the one who carries out its functions, he is responsible for teaching, scientific research and community service, he must meet the standards of competence and qualifications that enable him to perform his functions and improve his position in the professional and social ladder, while providing opportunities for transition and mobility by the university institution to which he belongs. We have used the descriptive method, and this is through monitoring and tracking the theoretical literature on the topic and trying to extract all ideas and results. The study has concluded that the socio-professional mobility of a university professor depends on the level of his management and rational control over all the influences related to him (subjective) and surrounding it in the work environment and harnessing it to serve his progress in the professional ladderen_US
