The study aimed to reveal the nature of human relations between teachers and students in middle schools and to identify the level of mental health of students. The study was applied to a sample of students numbering (69) of both sexes in intermediate education (3rd and 4th year) belonging to two middle schools in the city of Oran. In the study, the descriptive correlative approach was used, based on two questionnaires designed to collect data, one measuring human relations between teachers and students, and the second measuring students' mental health. The study concluded with the following results:- Human relations between teachers and students have been a considerable failure, which has appeared in the negative trend, especially in the moral and psychological fields, and has had a negative impact on students’ mental health. Girls, and girls were more adaptive and balanced in the school setting, to boys whose mental health was worse at school.en_US
