La protéiformité du genre « éditorial » dans l’espace francophone Étude croisée entre presse roumaine et presse québécoise

Abstract

The editorial is a normed genre in the mediatic field. It presents a list of arguments from his writer on a current topic (concerning Politics, Economics, Philosophy, etc.), using argumentative textual sequences. It canonically does not use such pronouns as « je» or « vous» in its textual continuity. At different levels, the journals Regardfrom Romania and Le Devoirfrom Quebec present characteristics dodging the previous rules. Based on a corpus composed of 90 texts taken from both journals, we will use the methods dictated by the differential comparison and the comparative discourse linguistics, in order to arise their similarities and differences. We will remark that non canonic sequences are to be noted (narrative, descriptive, etc.), and both pronouns previously presented. These elements even happen inside text topics not following the norms. This protean discursive materiality will give us an example about the formal wideness of the editorial in the francophone area
