An Evaluation Study of the Actuality of Administrative Communication among the Staff in the School Administration and its Relationship with their Job Performance

Abstract

Administrative communication is a prominent element of school management. Since the school is as an integrated system, all active partners share information and send messages among themselves to accomplish their work to achieve the goals of the school. Although we are aware of the extent to which modern technology contributes to facilitating communication and reduces effort, time and cost, this study aims to find out the relationship between administrative communication and performance. In order to achieve the purposes of the study; the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method using the questionnaire and interview tools. The sample of the study reached (194) individuals, and five oral interviews were conducted. The study showed the following result: Administrative communication and job performance in the school administration in Ghardaia appeared at a high level. The results also showed a significant correlation at the level of significance (α=0.01) between the reality of administrative communication and the performance of staff in the school administration in Ghardaia. The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.01) in the assessments of the study sample member regards the actuality of administrative communication; attributed to the variable of the type of school, and it is in favour of private schools.
