Abstract: Adolescence is a period of significant transformation from childhood to adulthood. The change during this period is equaled only by the growth and development that happens in infants. Adolescence is marked by tremendous physical, cognitive, emotional, and social challenges and growth. It is also a crucial time for identity formation and the questioning of previous assurances and identifications of childhood. Relationships within the family are changed as the adolescent tries to assert himself within the family. The evolution of family structures shows a significant increase in the number of divorces in our current society. We wanted to study, as all research carried out in other countries, the influence of parental divorce on the adolescent's identity construction through the interview and the Rorschach projective test. this research allowed us to become aware through a representative case that parental divorce even if it comes to concretize a previously conflictual situation, naturally felt by the adolescent, generates identity fragility, generates an identificatory problem, and affects the relational dynamics
