Psychological & Educational Studies Reviewen_US
The locus of control is a relatively recent concept, and it emerged as an important variable of personality from the social learning theory formulated by Julian Rotter in the sixties of the twentieth century, this concept indicates the degree to which the individual attributes his personal responsibility for what is happening to him in return for returning this to forces outside his control, the interest in studying the locus of control has increased by researchers due to its importance in predicting the motivations and performance of the individual, in the field of health, research and studies conducted in this context have concluded that an individual's health is affected by his beliefs about the source of his health.en_US
