dc.description.abstractLaser welding has revolutionized the welding industry due to its superior precision and his super speed. Among the most common types of lasers in welding: the CO2 laser, which produces a beam that is highly absorbed by metals, which facilitates the welding process. However, the absorption of theCO2 laser by metal alloys is influenced by various factors. Therefore, the aim of this master project is to study how the absorption of the laser CO2 by a metal alloy (for example TA6V in our study) occurs and to study the energy absorbed during welding and focus on some factors that affect this absorption.A numerical model was used to describe and calculate the energy absorbed by the metal alloy; taking into account the heat source (source term), which depends on the absorption coefficient linked to the multiple Fresnel reflections. The calculations were carried out using a program in Fortran languageen_US
dc.description.abstractLe soudage au laser a r´evolutionn´e l’industrie du soudage en raison de sa pr´ecision et de sa vitesse .Parmi les lasers les plus couramment utilis´es p our le soudage, il y a le laser CO2 , qui pro duit un faisceau fortement absorb´e par les m´etaux, facilitant ainsi le pro cessus de soudage. Cep endant, l’absorption du laser CO2 par les alliages m´etalliques est inflenc´ee par divers facteurs. Par cons´equent, le but de ce projet de master est d’´etudier comment l’absorption du laser CO2 par un alliage m´etallique (par exemple TA6V dans notre ´etude) se produit et d’´etudier l’´energie absorb´ee pendant le soudage et se concentrer sur certains facteurs qui affctent cette absorption . Un mod`ele num´erique a ´et´e utilis´e pour d´ecrire et calculer l’´energie absorb´ee par l’alliage m´etallique; compte tenu de la source de chaleur (terme source), qui d´epend du coeffient d’absorption li´e aux multiples r´eflxions de Fresnel. Les calculs ont ´et´e effctu´es `a l’aide d’un programme sous langage Fortran-
