The study aimed to identify the reality of human resources management practices in Qatari public organizations in light of the Corona pandemic, in particular the practices of employment, empowerment, compensation, training and development, and performance evaluation. The study relied on the analytical descriptive approach, information related to the subject was collected through secondary sources, in addition to collecting information from primary sources by conducting personal interviews with 10 human resource leaders in several Qatari government organizations. The study concluded that the pandemic had generally limited effects on Qatari public organizations, and these effects varied from one organization to another according to the extent of each organization's readiness for digital transformation, and the availability of competencies and skills among its employees. It led to a temporary cessation of direct employment procedures and a shift towards completing the procedures online, as well as a shift towards distance training, a temporary suspension of some limited allowances, granting more powers to employees to enable them to work, and a shift towards electronic evaluation instead of traditional evaluation. In general, these influences have contributed to advancing the process of digital transformation in human resource management in various government agencies.en_US
