dc.description.abstractThe study aims at knowing and simulating the reality imposed by the media and communication in the field of building attitudes towards the practice of physical recreational activities among individuals in southern Algeria, and from it was the research problem: to what extent the media and communication affect the building of trends towards practicing sports in leisure time in the southern Algerian region ? In this study, we followed the descriptive and analytical approach on a sample of 307 individuals who engage in various physical recreational activities. The researcher designed a questionnaire to measure the degree of the impact of these means on the attitudes of individuals, with all the psychometric characteristics of this questionnaire conducted, and the results showed that the media and communication have helped a lot in building Positive trends towards recreation through physical activity and sports among individuals in southern Algeriaen_US
